I’m a DNS Engineer working at Nominet to help keep the UK’s internet infrastructure solid, secure, and always online.
I’ve been deep in the world of DNS, IT operations, and automation for years, and I genuinely enjoy finding smart, efficient ways to keep critical systems running smoothly. I’ve worked on everything from managing high-performance DNS servers to designing new systems and responding to the unexpected with calm precision.
🚀 What I Do
Right now at Nominet, I:
- Keep the UK’s DNS infrastructure running smoothly
- Automate all the things (especially with Ansible and Python)
- Help design and roll out large-scale services like DNS/IPAM systems
- Respond to incidents—including EBERO events, DNS abuse, outages, and major TLD-level issues—calmly, methodically, and with a clear head.
- Generally keep things lean, reliable, and secure
I also occasionally find myself deep in migrations, gTLD transitions, and supporting both internal teams and government services.

- Monitoring: Zabbix, Nodeping, custom Python scripts
